Clean 9 Days 1 & 2
Getting past the first two days is the toughest part. You need to be serious about improving your life and losing weight. The results are worth it so stick to it!
The first step to a clean body is to control your intake of harmful preservatives and other chemicals. Consume only these products, which contain natural ingredients for the first two days, and you are on your way to a healthier, happier you.

Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. When cleansing the body you may experience light-headedness and feel lethargic. It is advisable to begin any cleansing programme on a non-working day. Stay motivated by taking 20 minute brisk walk to re-charge your body and mind.

5. 200g chicken/quorn fillet served with 150g new potatoes, 75g asparagus, 75g broccoli, 75g carrots, 1 small wholemeal bread roll with margarine
6. 2 medium wheat tortilla 100g chicken or quorn fried in 1 tbsp olive oil with 75g diced tomatoes, 75g onion and 75g peppers served with 75g lettuce and 1 tbsp sour cream dressing
Body Measurements
Get a starting point of where you are today by recording your weight and measurements. If you have access to a body fat measurement devise, include this in your measurements.
Top tip
Try to weigh and measure yourself at the same time on each of the set days – for example before getting into the shower, or before getting dressed. Make it part of your daily routine and it will become ‘the norm’ very quickly.
Daily Planner
Use the daily planner to keep a track of your daily activities. This will help you access your progress and monitor your daily intake and exercise regime.
Top tip
Tell those around you what you are doing. Let them support and encourage you. If you feel your resolve slipping – use someone else’s. Ask friends to help.
Planning for Success
On the Programme goals chart, write down three realistic goals that you would like to achieve in the next nine days. Review these daily and create a mental picture of what you would like to see and how you want to feel.

The following programme is based on a 1,500-calorie eating plan. Because individual calorific needs vary, you should first calculate your BMR (basal metabolic rate). You can then adjust the plan to suit you as needed.
Your BMR relates to the rate at which your body utilises and burns calories. This indicates the minimum number of calories your body needs each day in order to properly function while you rest (such as heart beat, breathing, blood flow).The only way to lose weight is to burn MORE calories than the amount you consume. Once you understand your body’s metabolic rate, you will be one step closer to achieving your own weight goal.
As you start to lose weight, recalculate your BMR after every 2kg lost, and adjust your daily calories.
